Join us for the 14th edition of Rakkas Istanbul Festival, taking place from 18 to 21 June 2027 in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Following an exciting 2026 edition, Rakkas Istanbul returns in 2027 with an impressive line-up of international teachers, performers and guest stars, bringing together oriental dance enthusiasts from around the world in one of the most magical cities in the world.

Over four days, immerse yourself in the world of oriental dance with a diverse program of workshops, gala shows, competitions, open stage performances and a costume bazaar, all in a warm and welcoming festival atmosphere.

The workshop program brings together different styles of oriental dance, from Egyptian and Turkish styles to Tribal and Turkish Romani dance, giving participants the opportunity to learn from renowned teachers, discover new techniques and develop their skills.

The festival’s 2027 Teachers & Guest Stars include:

• Ozgen, returning to Rakkas Istanbul for another exciting edition

• Serkan Tutar, Male Bellydancer of the World 2008 and one of the festival’s most familiar faces

• Soumaya Marose, bringing her distinctive Moroccan style as a performer, teacher and judge

• Osama Mimi Farag, returning to teach and perform Egyptian style

• Julio Farid, offering workshops and performances

• Helene of Norway, joining the festival once again

• Gulnihal, an elegant Turkish bellydance star and teacher
