Tour Description
Discover the hidden botanical treasures of Istanbul with our Gardens of Princes’ Islands tour — a captivating day trip that blends history, culture, and nature across the serene landscapes of Büyükada, Heybeliada, and Burgazada.
Once the summer retreat of Istanbul’s elite and a sanctuary for artists, writers, and exiles like Leon Trotsky, the Princes’ Islands are home to elegant 19th-century mansions and lush private gardens. These islands reflect a unique fusion of Ottoman heritage and Western garden design — featuring topiary art, decorative grottoes, faux bois railings, and ornate parterres.
As you explore tree-lined streets, historical estates, and peaceful green spaces, you’ll learn how the islands’ multicultural communities have shaped a rich garden culture still thriving today. This guided tour offers an in-depth look at the architectural and horticultural beauty of the islands, far from the busy city.
Ideal for garden lovers, history enthusiasts, and anyone looking to experience the natural side of Istanbul, this tour is a perfect escape into one of the city’s most charming destinations.
Book your Princes’ Islands garden tour today and uncover Istanbul’s most beautiful island landscapes.
